Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Dosti Chat. By subscribing to our services or embedding our chat widget, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Licensing and Scope

Dosti Chat grants you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to embed the chat widget on authorized domains associated with your subscription plan.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Dosti Chat service to:

  • Transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, or obscene material.
  • Intercept, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the underlying WebSocket signaling server.
  • Conduct spamming or flood the messaging servers (violate the message rate-limiting thresholds).

3. Service Availability

While we strive for a 99.9% uptime, Dosti Chat is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or zero data loss in the event of hardware failures.

Privacy Policy

We take customer privacy and data protection extremely seriously. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, and process your data.

1. Information We Collect

  • Tenant Account Details: Email address, plan choices, domains, and payment transaction details.
  • Chat Message History: Messages between visitors and agents are stored locally on our encrypted servers solely for displaying message logs inside your Admin Dashboard.
  • Visitor Meta-data: IP address (for rate limiting), device tags, and origin domains.

2. Data Retention and Deletion

All message histories logged on the server are subject to a rolling cap (capped at the last 10,000 logs per database instance) and can be permanently deleted upon request by emailing our support desk.

3. Security

We deploy strict transport layer security (HTTPS/WSS) and implement separate Public/Private API Key authentication gates to restrict data access to unauthorized users.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Dosti Chat. Please review our policies regarding payment cancellations and refunds:

1. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Once cancelled, your API key will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which it will be deactivated automatically.

2. Refund Policy

  • We offer a full, no-questions-asked refund if requested within 7 days of your initial subscription payment.
  • To request a refund, please send an email to contact@dosti.space with your Razorpay payment receipt ID and your Public API Key.
  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 business days and credited back through your original payment method.
